<p>I love this shot, but finding it, parking and walking to it is a bit of a pain. I think it&#8217;s worth it, don&#8217;t you? It&#8217;s from Treasure Island, but you have to wind your way around to the top and then down the side that faces the city. It&#8217;s even more tricky in the dark &#8230; and there are no signs saying &#8220;Here it is&#8221;.</p>

<p>Anytime the weather has been clear for a few days, get up before dawn and head down to the Embarcadero. You&#8217;ll snap some great shots for sure. San Francisco isn&#8217;t always foggy, but June and July tend to be the worst for morning and evening fog. It&#8217;s caused mostly by the hot weather in the Central Valley, which comes over the hills and crashes into the cool ocean breezes and voila, fog.</p>
